We “Sleighed” the day at Shine’s first ever para ice hockey tournament, Come to Sleigh!

National AccessAbility Week, observed the last week of May, is a week of recognition of accessibility contributions across the country.

December 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day that promotes inclusive, accessible, and sustainable societies.

While cash donations are the most common way that donors give to Shine Foundation, did you know it’s not the only option? In fact, there is a more tax-effective way to give that you may be missing out on!

As of September 23rd, 2023 we have updated our name and logo from The Sunshine Foundation of Canada to Shine Foundation! Our mission remains the same; to change the lives of young people living with severe physical disabilities. 

Stream for Dreams is Shine's annual peer-to-peer streaming campaign. This inclusive fundraiser invites streamers to raise funds while streaming their regular content on Twitch, with donations supporting Shine Experiences.

Giving Tuesday is the "opening day" of the giving season! A global day of giving where Canadians, charities, and businesses join together and support their favourite causes. 

Each year, the last week of May is observed as National AccessAbility Week in Canada.
